Nathaniel Brittingham is an accomplished professional photographer with over 30 years of experience. Nathaniel's photos were published in many major American magazines, with regular covers and features in such as PLAYBOY, SCOPE, SPORTS ILLUSTRATED, PENTHOUSE, STYLE, STAR, SATYR, SQUIRE, STAG and a host of other well known publications.
Nathaniel graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1983, underscoring his strong technical competence. Nathaniel was born in the USA in 1957, and after traveling the entire USA, finally settled in Sumter County. The excellent airports in Orlando and Tampa serve his international travel assignments well, and the proximity to the Caribbean and Bahamas have him  taking regular photographic assignments in these tropical islands. Nathaniel continues to drive his photography business with relentless enthusiasm that one can only get from doing something they love, which has resulted in a prosperous business.
True to his past, Nathaniel mainly concentrates his cameras on subject matter that appeals to him. Nathaniel, notably will be found photographing beautiful landscapes or shooting portfolio's of Nationally Known Artist, Actors and Models, as well as,  photographing fast cars and bikes, active extreme sports, and fitness models . In addition, time permitting, shooting graduations, weddings, family or group photography, advertising shoots, corporate and business portraitures, etc.

Know YOUR market

As a model, the best way to increase your chances for success is to evaluate yourself as a model properly and target that specific part of the market that best fits your features.

The two most popular and obvious types of models (and market sections) are "fashion" and "glamour" models (markets). Both have very well-defined specifications and requirements, that, unlike most models want to believe, are completely different from each other. And also the way those two markets operate is completely different - real fashion clients only work through agencies.

A common mistake most models make is aiming at the "high-fashion" market, without meeting the criteria or knowing what "high" fashion even means. Even though when you hear "model" you don't think of a Harvard graduate, most of the successful models are extremely smart and well educated. Always research and be realistic! Even though Kate Moss is just 5'7", she should not be your guide-star. The industry rarely makes exceptions. All model markets are very profitable and if you just stay on the realistic side there should not be a reason not to succeed.
